Elise the Hobbit??

Well, Elise is officially feeling better. I now believe that she may be turning into a Hobbit. Between 6:30 and 9:00 this morning she ate the following: bread, oatmeal, crackers, juice, and cream of wheat. In Hobbiton they would call this "first breakfast, second breakfast, and Elevensies"!

Poor little Elise-y-bear

This is a facial expression that Elise has had quite frequently over the last few days. She has been sick with the stomach flu since Friday night. On Saturday and Sunday she just laid on my lap or on daddy's lap for most of the day unless she was napping. During our Easter Egg hunt she found one egg picked it up, put it in her basket and then went and laid down on the floor. This was right after she woke up in the morning too. She was obviously not feeling up to snuff (as my mom would say). On Monday she was feeling significantly better but she still wanted to be held all day. This resulted in a very grumpy day yesterday because I couldn't just hold her all day since daddy was at work and Hannah needed attention too. When daddy got home Hannah told him that "Just me and mommy are going to Walmart to buy me some markers and you are going to stay home with Elise." Apparently, I wasn't the only one that needed a little break. Thankfully, I think that Elise is on the mend. Hopefully by tomorrow she will be back to her usual cheery little self. I found this video of her dancing to show how happy she usually is!

Me and my awesome Siblings

Hi all, I found these pictures of my family when I was a baby. The first picture is of me (I'm the baby), and my sisters Christie, Pollyanna, and Amy.

The second picture is of Pollyanna, Christie, Amy, Jeremy, Aaron, Joel, Jared, Daniel, and me. This picture hung in the front room of the house that I grew up in on Boatdock road in Aberdeen for as long as we lived there. I don't think any of us have changed a bit, what do you think?

Hooray for Hannah, she's 4 years old!

Hannah had her 4th birthday last week and she loved every minute of it. She was so excited to have the day focused on her. She has talked about being four every day since her birthday. She says things like, "Now that I'm 4 I'm a big girl. I'm almost as big as you now mom." And believe me she really sees no limits to what she can do, now that she is 4!
