We had to get our family picture taken out in front of the Disney Train Station. The Mickey behind us is made of beautiful white and red poinsettias and some other pretty flowers.
The first morning we went straight to the park so that we could go to a Character breakfast with the one and only Minnie Mouse. Hannah could hardly believe her good fortune in actually getting to meet the queen of nice. They even dressed the same for the occasion.
Elise on the other hand was not so sure what to think about meeting the characters. She was a little nervous. Thankfully Papa stepped in and helped ease the pressure of meeting Minnie.
Tigger took a special liking to Ava. He kept coming by our table and rubbing her on the head. Here he is giving her a smooch!
We are so glad that Amma and Papa (Sam’s parents) were able to go with us. We had such a great time in their comopany and the girls were so excited to get to spend time with them. Here’s Hannah, Elise, and Amma hanging out by the water front waiting for a “Princess and the Frog” parade to start. The girls just loved the parade. They got to dance and see a New Orleans style band come marching through. It was their kind of parade.
One of the perks of having grandparents with us was that Sam and I could sneak off once in a while and go on the big rides. We had a great time going on the big rides together and with Sam's sister Marie.
One of the greatest things about meeting up again with our kids was that I got greeted like this every time!
Ava was a very good sport through out the trip. When she went on "It's a Small World" she was very over stimulated. She dealt with this by falling asleep 30 seconds after the ride ended.
Elise had fun playing in Donald Ducks Garden
Did I mention that we ate...a lot on this trip! We discovered that there are some tasty restaurants at Disneyland as long as your willing to pay. Here we are enjoying some good old fashioned family style BBQ. There was a stage with singers performing while we dined.
The performers on stage invited members of the audience to come up and ring bells for Jingle Bells. Hannah went right up there and rang and rang and rang those bells.
We had a wonderful time at D-land but when the time came for our trip to be done we were all ready. Here is Elise as we made our way to the parking tram on our very last night. If you look closely you can see that she is sleeping, happy and content. Just the way a child should be after a magical journey to Disney Land.

How fun!!! Looks like you had a great trip. Brooklyn saw me looking at your blog. Now she's pouting, "I wish we could go to Disneyland." I can't believe how your girls are growing! And you look great! Miss you!
