Elise is a very good little sleeper, if she's in her own bed. However, trying to get her to fall asleep in my arms is quite another story. She never falls asleep at church , even though she often needs to. She is always afraid she'll miss something. But there is just something about her Grandmas that can get her calmed right down and put her out. She could be in the middle of Disneyland and would fall asleep if Grandma was holding her. Actually in her case she did. Here she is on a sunny afternoon with Amma at Disney California Adventure. I can tell you, it was an adventure getting her to sleep. Thankfully, Sam's mom (Amma) was there to save the day.
At the Beck Family Christmas Party Grandma Polly's magic touch prevailed in getting Elise to fall asleep in the middle of a gym full of Becks. If any of you know the Becks then you will know that being around the group of them is a lot like being at Disneyland only in a more confined space ;)! So here's to Elise's Grandmas she obviously loves you and so do I!
